In the several months since I've been a member here, I've read a couple of comments from ladies who can sometimes 'miss' a post because it's down toward the bottom of the list of sub-forums (just barely above the RULES sub-forum). Or don't think to read anything besides the Morning Coffee or General topics, myself included.

Well, DUH on me - I FINALLY came across a nifty, but I think often unnoticed, feature of this BB format -the "VIEW NEW POSTS" option! Try it - you'll like it (what was THAT commercial?) It'll show you all new posts since your last session, no matter which sub-forum. I'm sure most of you have seen this, and/or already use it, but I'm sometimes thick.

From the second picture, you can see I've already read all the posts under "MONDAY, MONDAY" because that little red rectangle thing just before the title of the post is not there. If you stay logged in most, or all, the time, just click back to "BOARD INDEX" to refresh the new posts.

I've always seen that, but left it alone,..sort of like the directions to the new camera, etc. thanks Mitch for showing how neat that feature is!

It's bookmarked in my Firefox toolbar. You can't slip anything by me ....

This reminds me of the time someone posted about the little notches at the ends of Foil and Saran Wrap boxes. We were all going Duh!!!!!

I've always used that feature, thought it was the only way to read the forum
