Ms"B"Haven - Goodbye

Today I sold Ms"B"Haven. It was a sad moment, but I'm just thankful that I had two years with her that were wonderful. She is moving to Philadelphia with a nice couple - the woman is an artist and will probably use it the most as she does a lot of outdoors oil paintings. I think Ms"B"Haven will have a lot of wonderful new adventures.

Now we are just waiting (still) for the house to sell and then the Miata - and then we will be true full-timers.

Congrats of selling Ms"B"Haven, another step towards freedom. Do they know her name and do you think they will continue to call her that? We still exchange Christmas cards with the very special couple in Argyle TX that we bought our first TT from. Right after we purchased it, they sent us a 1yr. subscription to Trailer Life mag. and we've kept it renewed since then. Aren't RV people special, there is no way I would even think about keeping in touch with anyone I purchased a car/truck from. :D

That's terrific. I'm sure she will be very happy on her new adventures. Hopefully your house and car will also find new owners soon and you can hit the road. carold

How exciting (and a little sad) you're just that much closer to fulltiming. I will be fulltiming for two years in Feb and I LOVE it.

Nice to see that you made your sale. Isn't it funny how attached we become to things. I'm sure she'll enjoy her new home. Now if the housing market would just get moving. Closer and closer your getting!!

In the back of my mind, MissBhaven was becoming MINE! I am both excited for you and so disappointed for me that she is gone. I really loved how you had her set up with all the added amenities/toys, etc. I have often looked at your website with all those neat pictures and stats about her on it. I just didn't have enough equity on my two vehicles, pickup and TT, to get an affordable loan for her yet. Sigh-----am looking forward to finding another similar class B for when I retire and take to the road. I am thinking more and more that hauling a TT is just not for me, as much as I LOVE this arrangement once I get somewhere.

Haw Marge...selling Ms"B"Haven had to be one of those bittersweet moments in life that we all have. Something we really want to happen but it sure hurts when it does. Everytime you see one like her at a campground you'll think of her. We sold our TT to friends last Fall and they have camped with us several times this year...so glad it went to a good home.

I know it was a two sided moment for you Margie, but I'm glad that you are comfortable with the new owners. Good! Your plan is coming together!

Like the others, I know this was both a happy and bittersweet moment for you. I hope the bittersweet quickly passes as the excitement of what it means (the one step closer to your goal) continues. Here's hoping the house can quickly follow.
