Hope got a BooBoo

So I'm backing into my site at Brown's Town, Evie's watching the back and a truck that was sticking half way out in the road, There's these big rocks they've put down everywhere when suddenly I hear a loud scraping sound. Now I knew there were rocks (actually they're not rocks, they're boulders) on the side, but I figured I missed the one I was worried about....no such luck. Stopped, got out and there's this big boulder behind my front tire and Hope is pretty much sitting on it on her front panel. Rats!! (not exactly what I said, but trying to keep it clean). A couple of really nice ladies that were playing cards in the shade helped us move the boulder out of the way and I was able to get in my spot without doing any more damage to poor Hope. 'Course the steps wouldn't come down after I got leveled, so had to climb up every time I got in...never thought to pull the slides in and start her, but they seemed to work fine when I got ready to go. Whew!
The Boulder:
Hope's BooBoo:
I posted some more pictures of the Bishop GTG, it's kind of long, so when you get a minute.....enjoy!

OUCH. Don't you just hate it when stationary objects move?? My problem is light posts in Sam's club parking lots. I swear they attach to me like a magnet. I don't park near them, but when I get back to the truck and attempt to leave, there they are!!!!!
Hope it doesn't cost too much to fix your Hope. Linda

Awwww..... sorry to read this! ...but those are such narrow appearing actually just "slots" to back into, not even a campground site, actually. Poor Hope and you didn't have a chance that mean ole boulder just attacked you! Glad your steps worked later. I hope that Hope's boo boo isn't too expensive to fix. Guess the old saying "it could have been worse" isn't much help when it's a boo boo on our baby!

Ouch. That's ugly. Don't ya just hate when that happens?
But Linda's post here should put at least a little smile on your face...made me chuckle.
Hope Hope will be okay. And you, too.
I FINALLY got over drilling a hole clear through the wall on my little Fun Finder!

Quick, have someone (or you) drill a hole to prevent the crack from traveling. I have a boo boo on Gertie Gulfstream that is TOTALLY my fault. Was putting up a folding shelf by my bed one evening. All went well until the next morning when I walked outside only to see six screws protruding from the rig. OH SH***. Removed too long screws and rehung shelf with shorter screws then filled the holes on the outside with some caulking. I swear EVERY TIME I walk by that side. Dumb, dumb.
Then there's the ding on the back, lower rear where my toad came loose and jammed under the rig all because someone HELPED me hook up and got me out of my normal procedure.
Or the 4inch slash where a semi flipped one of those big orange highway cones up and into the side of my rig right beside the driver's door. Thank God it didn't hit the windshield. And, it happened so fast I couldn't even get the name of the company of the semi.
Come to think of it, maybe now I'm past the deductible and can get these fixed when I get home.

And then there was the time I forgot to chock the trailer wheels before unhitching and tried to stop it with my shoulder.

oh no!!!! but I agree about drilling a hole at the end of that crack so it doesn't
go further. Hope the repairs aren't too costly. I'd a been cussing for sure, and
try to blame somebody for putting that boulder there. So nice of all those ladies
to come an help you move it out of the way.

Yeeeowch! I'm sorry about Hope. I've got a coupla dents in the bottoms of bays from those wayward boulders. Just jumped under my rig when I wasn't looking. Rascals. Still need to get mine fixed.

Thanks for all of the sympathy and good wishs....gave wrong info tho, the booboo is in front of tire...missed the rock with the tire and got the front panel. Sure hope I don't embarrass myself and Hope getting into my site at the Tenn GTG!! It's funny, never had any trouble backing in a site with the 38ft, but this 34 is killin' me. And it seems to be getting worse. Although in all fairness, my BF camps at Browns a couple times a year (tent) and he said they sit and watch folks hit those boulders all of the time. Guess Browns just doesn't care about their guests. Poor Evie had to back in between 2 trees and it was tight! She did a great job, tho, she was in by the time I unhooked the jeep and got down to our sites. If we had walked down and looked at the sites first we would have done some switching around. Diana in Evies, me in Dianas and Evie in mine. Oh well.
