Moving the 5er for July!!

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Tue Jun 30, 2009 9:16 am

Okay....taking a few minutes here to let you all know we're going up state PA for the month of July.....staying at a nice little campground just across the state line in NY......taking the month to visit with my side of the family and a special trip with the kids and grand-kids to Niagara Falls, etc.....we're all excited!!! :D
So will check in with you all when we get settled....hopefully the signal will be better than here...

We had drs. appts yesterday....and for those who have met Ernie.....yep.....he needs hearing aides.... ;) getting them in August....maybe then the TV volume will get back to normal...and he can hear me when I talk..... .....I'm to have minor surgery for a lump on my face in August, too....but other than that, we healthy..... ;)

Okay, this isn't getting the work done...so I'll stop for now...

You two could make a side trip a bit farther north???? :D But I know you are busy. good luck to Ernie adjusting to the hearing aids and especially to you with that surgery.

Would love to join you all in Pa in Sept. but I'll be back working two jobs by then. Have fun and post pics! :D

Hope you enjoy your time with family and that your surgery is uneventful. Don't count on Ernie hearing you better....just make sure he's wearing those hearing aids when you talk to him!

Just wearing them, Liz? Liz and I speak from experience - I sometimes don't have mine in - and she sometimes turns hers OFF!

Have fun at your new July home - good luck with the surgery for you, Lori, and the hearing aids for you Ernie. Please, tell me you're going through an audiologist through your doctor - not some place like Miracle Ear (there is a vast difference!).

Know you'll have fun visiting for a month-those kids will keep you guys on the move. Good luck on the surgery-the only bump on my face that needs surgery is the one right in front    . Will be keeping you in my thoughts. Lorie, are you SURE you want Ernie hearing better? Hope the internet connection is better at your temporary home. carold

Checking in here before hitting the hay for the night.......Ernie's been checked by the specialist at the VA for the hearing aides......now that it has been written down with them, he may get some comp. for the hearing damage he got while in Vietnam......

Okay....long day on the road tomorrow...have a great night and I'll check in when settled...
