I think I forgot to post a picture of Carold getting her Flamingo glass.

The Yucca are finally in bloom. Isn't it amazing that such an ugly plant can have such beautiful blooms.

One thing New Mexico has is gorgeous sunsets.

Not much going on here - we've had some rain which keeps the temperatures cool and comfortable. Just wanted to post so everyone knows I'm still alive and kicking.

you know Karen would have to admit that I like the yucca plant!! :) your photos were so pretty thank you for sharing with us...yes the sunsets in the SW are so pretty we marveled with the ones in AZ...where we are we don't see the sunset will need to wonder down to the river and watch it some night but then that puts us out in the prime skeeter time!!
have a good night

My oldest sister has a green thumb. On the farm, which she still lives by herself now, she still has flowerbeds everywhere outside and potted plants like a jungle inside. Back to my point. She had a Yucca plant in the yard that had been there ever since I could remember when I was growing up. I think it finally bloomed after around 20 yrs. Then it went nuts! Not sure if it takes the plant that long to bloom or what the deal was, but it was beautiful and so exotic for the mid west.

What fun pictures! I like the Yucca plant, too.
Hope you're still having a good time out there!
