Sunny Saturday photos of lilacs and Mountain Ash blossoms. I hope your Saturday is as pretty as it is up here in the north country!

Lilac bushes in full bloom. Tiger swallowtail butterflies are loving them!

A bounty of Mountain Ash blossoms, each of which will become a bright orange berry for the late summer/fall.

Happy Saturday, you all!

Gorgeous! Do you cut the lilacs and bring some inside?
Ours have been gone for over a month now.
I can almost smell yours, too!

Thanks for sharing your lilacs! They are gorgeous!! Mine bloomed in early April. Here are elephant ears and bouganvilla on
Calle El Chorro (the washer women) that I passed on my walk this morning.....

Any other Sunny Saturday flowers out there?

p.s. I don't know that little red fruit!

Has anyone noticed that in places where the winters are harsh - the Spring flowers are much more spectacular than in mild climates? I'm waiting for the Yucca and some cactus to bloom to post pictures. Cactus blooms are also spectacular but short lived. There are lots of wild flowers here in the desert but you do have to look for them.
