night of karaoke

OK, I'm half snookered (sp) mayble more than half LOL. Went into town to karaoke, had a few beers (who's counting, I wasn't driving lol) and there was a woman tourist there with a voice that made me want to cry. I've always wanted to be able to sing, but the shower and driver's seat is all I'll do - even my dogs have begged me to stop LOL.

It was so much fun - I think I'll be going back - maybe too often - but I have no reason to get up early tomorrow - especially now that Peaches got walked after 1 am LOL

Oh, I love that my life is my own :) Working those 6 am's I almost forgot there was a life at night - but I remember now :)

I'm laughing here...cause I can hear ya belt out a tune and the dogs leave LOL Yep..you had a few beers !! Good you needed it... Let loose and enjoy..... WE can't wait to hear what's next !!!!

With all the stress of the storm you were due for a night on the town. Congrats! I'm also a driver's seat singer when I'm driving.

Ava, I'm shocked  not that you do that, but that you admit to it! Mom always taught me that we women "fluff" LOL. Please be extremely careful not to do that near your CO2 sensor. Jenny has a cat that alerts the entire campground when he's eaten something that stirs his tummy up. At least Jenny and Dan will TELL you it's their cat ;)

That sounds like fun time! I think Texas agrees with you!

My husband and I went out to a club last Saturday, first time in years. Our jaws dropped to the ground when the first person we saw was my 92 year old step-mom!! She really enjoyed the evening. This woman is my hero, you practically need an appointment to visit her.

Will we be seeing a picture soon of your new look!

Good for you Bethers! All of us need to let our hair down once in awhile! I can't sing either...when the kids were babies I tried lullabies and the youngest put his hand over my mouth...now that's bad! Ava...we had a dog who would lay on the couch beside my husband and let fluffers all the time and pretend like she was sleeping through them...if Dennis paid her back with one she would jump off the couch...give him a dirty look as if to say "you hog" and leave the room! Radar always jumps up and looks at her hinder after she lets one...dead give away.

It's so much fun to tell you all about my fun LOL - Even though none of you were with me, I'll never live things down I talk about, eh? And I know I'll be hearing from Ernie :)

OMG! Ya'll shock the fluffers out of me! And Shade growls.
LOL When she was young right after I got her we were in the living room of the apartment playing. I was sitting on the tile floor in my panties and short nitie. We were learning to play fetch. I got to chuckling at her and let a couple fluffers (farts) out and they squeeled on the tile floor. Shade came to a dead stop, dropped the ball and stared at 'that area of the floor'. She started to do a sneaky stalk of the noise when she got close enough she let out a pretty big snort! I laughed and cut a couple more. She jumped about 6" and growled like heck at 'that area of the floor'. She then proceeded to growl at 'that area of the floor' while stalking and pacing at the safe distance of my feet.
The very best is that she's done it herself more than once and every time she did she would jump up, whip around and stare at 'the floor and growl'!!! She still does it.

Dang I can't remember the last time I went out like that? It had to have been about 4 years ago. I think???
Only dang time I did karaoke was probably back in '93'. Oh my goodness. There were 4 of us and I think we were all about 3 sheets to the wind. We sang Born To Be Wild. From the first word we were boo'd. LOL I'm so glad that they didn't throw anything!! Tell ya what tho? Next morning my head let me know that I sure must have had fun! Whew!!!

No -----karaoke-------- but an Elvis sighting!!!!!!!!!!!
And it was mid-day & I had not been drinking!!!!!!!!!!
We were at a business in Branson signing a contract to rent a storage unit- (the only storage unit available in Branson) And when I looked up there stood Elvis-- I said to hubby is all this move & auctions tooooooo much for me--or do you see him also--------
then Elvis came over & said Hello--how do you do------ where are you all from????
And invited us to his show at "Legends" in Branson!!! So we had an Elvis spotting & I had not even had a drink!!!!!!!!!
I sang Elvis songs the rest of the afternoon!!!!!!
