Stuff is missing ...

You might recall that a few months ago I took in a recovering drug addict ...
who then imploded and left. Well, I cannot find certain things ... my beloved
tomtom GPS unit among them. I might have hidden it and can't remember
doing that (ain't aging fun?) but I'm frustrated.

What else is missing (and I've been tearing my house apart in preparation for
the aborted move) is my TWO pairs of PRESCRIPTION sunglasses. Both of them.
I had them when I returned from the Obama campaign in Colorado. They were
sitting on my kitchen counter. But why would ANYONE take prescription sunglasses?

Anyway, just venting. Grrrrr #@!$&%!!!!!

Don't ya just hate when that happens???? I truly thought my son had taken my small camera that works so well on the bike and then I found it in the truck...I searched this house, rv, BF's house, the bike....couldn't find it. I just KNEW he had taken it. Then went out to the truck to get something out of the center console and there it was. Why I put it there I couldn't tell you! Then there was the time I hid the keys to all of my vehicles when I did a bike trip, was due to leave on an rv trip when we got back and couldn't remember where I hid the keys. Thought I had an extra set in the rv, hoped I had left the drivers window unlocked, got the ladder out, hoisted myself in the window head first (probably a really ugly scene from the outside LOL!), flopped into the drivers seat acquiring various bruises in the process....no keys. Really panicked at that point....2 hours later had the famous "AHA" moment and found the keys. So hopefully with all of the turmoil of packing and cleaning you'll find your lost and not stolen GPS and glasses.

druggies will steal anything, they can get $ for stuff even prescription sunglasses.
I went through all that stealing stuff with my son   although I still love
him, I still don't trust him.

With me its all brain fizzles. I did read something the other day about it not being so much memory but that individuals may not be paying attention as much. I know in my case I agree with the attention. My mind is off wool gathering or thinking of "other stuff" and then suddenly I come around and figure out that I'm missing the piece that tells me where I left my glasses, cell phone, keys....fill in the blank. What ever the case I hope that your glasses really are just miss placed but I know that there are unfortunate situations were things "walk"

When I left ND in 1998 my cousin wanted to buy my matched pair of cherry wood curio cabinets so I trusted her to take them and make payments. Needless to say, that was the biggest mistake...have not seen a dime.
I hope your GPS and glasses show up but don't count on it.

Saw a blip on the news about micro chipping our "things". Like they do to the dogs/cats? This way you can always find your stuff. Might not be such a wild concept afterall! :o
