help

Postby Pooker » Sat Aug 24, 2024 7:06 am

I have a new computer and I'm having difficulty with this forum. I've lost the red dot indicator for new posts and all posts say "no unread posts" even tho here are some. Right now I'm resorting to looking for latest reply dates.

Had a hard time even getting this message done.

I'm not sure why or how that happened but maybe there's a fix for going forward. When you come on the forum, at the top right (above the list of topics) it says "mark forums read". If you were to click on that it would freshly clear them so that you would hopefully start seeing new posts from them on.

Thanks, Beth. I tried the old standby fix of shutting everything down, counting to 10 and turning on again. Seems to be okay, but like always whenever we're forced to buy new electronics it's a large learning curve. Larger the older I get.

Oh, that's wonderful. I was just cussing out the camera on my phone. I've had this phone a month or two now without a problem. I didn't realize there was a door on the back that could cover the lenses. I must have covered it. So after some cussing and turning the phone off and back on etc, I just happened to turn the phone over and find the problem. Felt pretty stupid lolol
