Walmart+ "free" delivery plus movie channel

Just found out that Walmart is having a 1/2 sale on their Walmart+ membership. Regularly $98.00/year, on sale until July 18 for $49.00/year.

That's just a little over $4.00/month. The $98.00/year is a bit of a stretch for me, but the $49.00/year is definitely worth it. At least for me.

I hate actually going into my local Walmart store these days, because so much of everything is now under lock and key. The free pick-up option, at least for me, is also a bit iffy. With summer temps here from 100* - 115*, I really don't want to wait in my car for ten or fifteen minutes while they roll my order out to my vehicle.

If you like movies and such, the Walmart+ membership comes with a free membership to Paramount+.

$4.00/mo., at least for me, is a deal.

Remember, this deal expires July 18. Check it out:

I have Walmart plus and I've saved the amount of membership with it. As long as I can keep doing that, I'll keep it. I do almost all my shopping as pickup and I don't think I've ever waited even 5 minutes. I did a pickup order for this past Wed and clicked the link when on my way. Clicked to give them the spot I was parked in and within 30 seconds someone was delivering to my car. It'll be a couple minutes if I don't click the link to tell them I'm on the way. I also use the no bagging option and the person loads my product into my bags/coolers in my trunk. And they don't take a tip. I do admit the Paramount addition helped me decide to do it originally. Right now they have me 6 months of free Showtime. I put it in my calendar to cancel the week before the 6 months ends unless I decide I can't live without it (unlikely).

I also have the Sam's membership and Amazon prime. I will drop any if they quit giving me more value than the cost.

I shop the sales at Safeway and Fred Meyer (aka Krogers) and I do the pickup. Like you Beth I let them know I am on my way and never have to wait very long. Some things they dont have or are too expensive so I also go to Winco or Sherms depending on what I need. Usually it is fresh veggies and/or meat or seafood but I usually buy my meat at Winco or Sherms. I dont like our Walmart meats or produce so I dont really shop there. And the stuff they lock up annoys me too much to look for a person to unlock the case, then find out I need something else that is locked up and of course the person is nowhere to be found. SO, I usually just shop on Amazon I dont even care if it is a couple bucks more. The thing I hate most about Amazon is they use USPS so when something is 2 day shipping (for my area) it is really 3 days because we are at the end of the mail route. No fulfilment center in this area.

I love the deals I've been getting at Safeway. And I use their pickup service to avoid buying things I shouldn't. I managed to add cookies to my last order. Bad me. Lol But my meat comes from Safeway as do some other things.
