Gorilla Baby Photos

I am putting these in my blog, but could not resist putting these here. I love the last two when she is trying to suck on her toes!

Notice that mom is holding her upside down! I don't know who the other female is, but she stayed close to the new mom the entire time. Mom decided to climb into box while holding onto baby!


She is holding onto the baby tightly, but somehow I think she could perfect her holding skills.

This is dad. He keeps an eye out on the goings on in the troop.


A closeup of the baby. She was amazingly alert and busy.


Baby is noticing her feet and trying to reach her toes.

I forgot to add that they are planning to do a physical exam of the baby in the next couple of months and also do some DNA testing to find out for sure who the father is. Besides the big male, there are two other males in the group that could be the father. One is 8 and the other is 6, but it is possible either could be the father.
