Thank you everyone for birthday wishes. I had my best day , health wise and activity wise in probably six months. I headed out mid day and tried recommended new car wash - they have psychedelic rainbow soap suds, which was entertaining as I rode through on their conveyor apparatus ! Car now clean and shiny! Then to Great Clips and got couple inches trimmed on hair, which I'm happy with. From there, next door to them, a nail salon, owned by a Vietnamese couple, who came here to the US, became citizens and now own this beautiful salon with a row of very nice massage chairs with footbath, with stand for pedicure. I'm not a nail polish person, but boy did the nail and cuticle trim and foot and lower leg massage feel great ! Walked out feeling so good. Then, down the street and wandered Hobby Lobby for a bit. Did not buy a thing but had fun looking at the blend of Thanksguving/fall, Halloween and Christmas, with boxes everywhere being opened and loaded on shelves and racks. After that, I stopped to speak to people who own the tshirt shop where we bought our business shirts and jackets- still same owners. I have an idea for a tshirt and yes they custom print $30 including buying the shirt. From there'- it's my birthday so I drove to DQ and got a small chocolate extreme blizzard. Took it back up the street to our very large park and sat in shade to eat it. Then the few blcks home. I've had so many lovely greetings from so many. Even a video chat with Deputy Nick and my two grandchildren. That was fun. Though I video chat with both the teens, my son rarely calls or video chats, preferring to message between cases at work or after home, so it was good to see his face for a change and hear his voice. My Day culminated with Caesar salad, bacon wrapped scallops and steak. It really was an outstanding 3/4 century birthday!
