Welcome to no sleep land

Postby Cudedog » Fri Aug 04, 2023 4:49 am

Had a busy day yesterday, nothing special, just errands and the like. Pooped by 9:00, into bed to do some reading, decided to to turn the lights off at 10:00, hoping it wasn't a mistake. My usual bedtime is about midnight, but the thought of sleeping from 10:00 to 6 or 7 was too good to pass up. Eight hours or more sounded like heaven.

Yeah, right.

Snoozed from 10:00 to 1:00 am, still wide awake at 3:00 am.

On nights like this I am tempted to go out in my back yard and howl at the moon, but it would upset the neighbors.

Maybe just too hot to sleep. About 80 degrees here at 3:00. September cant come fast enough

Oh well. Over and out.

Don't you have AC in your bedroom? I can't sleep when I am warm. I must have accidentally turned on the timer feature on my bedroom minisplit because it turns off automatically around 5am and I wake up very warm and have to turn the unit on again. The timer option is very confusing and is hard to figure out how to turn it off. Will have to work on that today.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
