I am looking for a wi-fi based pet monitor (camera) so that I can check on Joe with my smart phone when I am away from home.

There are about a jillion on the market, most of them just say "This one is BEST for pets!!!" or somesuch, without offering any specifications as to how it actually works, what kind of app it uses, etc.

Anyone have one of these things? Anyone know of anyone who has one?

Looking for recommendations.

My recommendation:

Eufy cameras are my new "go to". Good clarity, easy to install. Lots of Youtube videos to assist when needed. The indoor cameras are pretty amazing by looking at the video and what you can do with them.
