Oh, I celebrated all right. Had to bring a stool sample from Elsa to the vet's. How's that for birthday excitement?!? At my age now I couldn't take anything more exciting. She had been losing weight and we discovered she has a thyroid problem. Vet also said she is likely older than we thought. Never thought of her as a senior cat.

My eldest son gave me a large throw with a HUGE picture of Elsa on it. I draped it over the back of a recliner and she immediately claimed it as her napping place. Now two sets of eyes stare at me and she blends in so well with the picture that I often don't even see her.

Thanks for all the good wishes, guys.
