We are all bored, searching for something to post. I smiled at Sue’s Piper watching the squirrel in a tree she couldn’t reach. Most rvers love the outdoors so why not post what you see out of your window. I live in an apartment complex but sometimes it feels like a dog kennel. There is a pet above me, below me and on either side. I was told the new pet above is a huskie. I now know when a siren is coming because the huskie starts howling and now the others join in. The owner works and either a friend or dogwalker takes the huskie for a walk along with another dog. I am so isolated and bored I am starting to understand dog speak. This morning the woman was walking one dog but upstairs huskie was barking good morning or maybe come get me. When upstairs owner goes to work his huskie mumbles to himself. I laugh because I know how he feels.

My view isn't very pretty and won't be until huge piles of snow melt. There is one hill/mountain that is partially covered with snow, but it's socked in with clouds this morning. Sometimes there is a reflection from the sunset that turns the SE sky pinkish/orange. When weather is warmer, I take a walk to see the western sky when that happens. Shirl, the dog barking would drive me crazy as it did in RV parks. I think the dogs outnumber people here, but there is very little barking. It has been fun watching them in the snow.

I see a campground that looks empty, but there are trucks and cars at almost every site. The cause of this empty look is that it is abnormally cold and drizzly, with grey skies instead of the usual Florida sunshine. It rained yesterday and heavily during the night, so everyone is hunkered down in their rigs, no doubt with furnaces running. I do see palm trees waving because it is also windy--not a good day for a walk on the nearby beach. Only walkers I see are those with dogs who need exercise. And no one is here in a tent or even a popup camper, for obvious reasons.

In fact, this morning I tried to find a more southern campground here is Florida to move to, but could not.

We see the club house out our front window, which when lit up night, is gorgeous with the up lights and down lights shining on the building. Unfortunately, it is chilly and very overcast. To the right of the club house is a screened in pickleball court which is in use from 8:00 A.M. until sun down. Those folks are die hard players because when I'm inside wearing layers, they're out there with shorts and tee shirts on.

I have you all beat. My back deck is high and overlooks the business behind me. Bucks Sanitary Service, home of many many porta potties LOL Potties come and go on a daily basis but it is never real busy, they spend lots of time steam cleaning (more in the summer) and the owner is super nice. Always checking when he sees me out to make sure his "boys" are not bothering any of us. In the summer they get busy and then only a couple dozen parked in the lot. I used to look at beautiful mountains and Mt Ashland so this is a definite change. But my back yard is very private so I do like that.

Kare, did deer ever visit your back yard? How about birds. I miss my house, had a heated birdbath and feeders so in winter had Blue Jays, Cardinal, woodpeckers and Chickadees.

The deer didnt bother with my back yard because of my fence they went next door occasionally. I have a few feral cats around but again not so much in my yard becuse of the dog probably. Birds are around but I dont have any feeders mainly because of the cats AND the dog eats the bird poop under the feeder, at least she did at my previous place so gave up on the feeders. I miss my house too BUT home is where you make it.

My view when inside is looking out the front window. I've got the laundry room across from me. But I put my picnic table at the back of my site. That looks outside the park and I can listen to and see birds. We aren't allowed bird feeders, but lots of the birds hang around because there is run off from the canals and even done is the water birds come check it out. It turns out they like good weather, too lol

depends upon what view you choose to look at to the North if you get in the right angle can see the top of the Grand Teton other than that houses or at the end of the street you can see the elk refuge out the East side window houses mountains the picture window can see around the houses Snow King which is one of the ski hills more than a hill though .. I'll send a picture to Beth and have her post it for me in the morning so you can see what we saw out the side door to the east...
I miss having my bird feeder's out they don't recommend them here due to the wild animals that might use them as well I do put a hummer feeder out though in the summer of course

Sheila, sounds like you have beautiful scenery. Decided the woman I see out my window is a dog walker since she had 3 on leashes today. She could make a good living in this building. There is another regular walker. A very tall elderly woman who walks her chihuahua twice a day. She shuffles along slowly and pet prances quickly ahead. When the leash tightens he stops, turns waits for her then prances ahead again. It’s sweet and sad.

Sheila, you are right about size but at age 7 riding my bike I was attack by a vicious chihuahua who chomped down on my heel and hung on as I rode. He did eventually let go. Lol Do roving moose eat all your plants or do they have preferences.?
