Roasty-Toasty

A bit roasty-toasty here today.

Last time I looked, it was nearing 109. Might have passed it to reach 110, but it is just too dang hot to open my front door to look at the thermometer. I have the AC set to 80, and it actually feels cool. . .

Highly unusual for this time of year. It is still only the last day of May, after all. In years past we might have even seen a spot of drizzle this time of year.

2021, not so much. . . Predicted to continue in the mid to upper 90's for the rest of the week.

Hot here tomorrow but not as hot as you. The only thing I can say is we are screwed this year with fires. We have already had many fires, just no biggies...YET

my son told me this weekend that Utah has already had xxx amount of fires I can't remember what he said though just well into the hundreds I assume just those little piddly ones that burn a few acres but we all know that is subject to change...

You got me beat! only low 100's here today and this week. You probably have more humidity than we do too. I haven't really been outside much other than at the cookout and that didn't turn out well for me as far as the heat went.

I fear for what the west is in for this summer. :(

It was 104 ° all afternoon starting around 2. I was in and out checking on Sean, the handyman as he worked. Hope weather people are right and temps moderate rest of week.

That's way to hot for me!! Its supposed to get to 78 today, which is about as perfect as weather can be! Supposed to be 89 by Saturday and you can bet that people with be complaining about the heat wave!
We still need more rain, we did not get enough snow this winter and spring was too dry.

And the same heat in the Cali foothills. I’m grateful for cool down at night!

103 her in Vegas yesterday with a fells like 102 - big deal. might get up as high as 112 before it cools down. No more walking for me for a while. Already over 80 at 7:00 a.m. Going to miss the walks, but unless I go out before the sun comes up I can't do it. We hope to get out of here for a few months later in the summer.
