In order to turn on and off my bathroom vent fan, I have to balance on the platform that my toilet is attached to. I have decided that I am taking too much of a chance of falling or slipping, so I want to buy either a MaxxAir remote control vent fan or one made by Fantastic. The prices seem similar.
Here is the MaxxAir version--
https://www.campingworld.com/maxxfan-de ... vents-fans Cost = $299.97And here is the Dometic Fan-Tastic version--
https://www.campingworld.com/dometic-fa ... vents-fans Cost = $297.43Any comments? Suggestions?

I have a fantastic fan in my bathroom but am able to reach it without help (it doesn't have a remote)
not this past year but the year before or perhaps longer looked at a remote operated fan for my vent in the living room
I can no longer open it up as the screw that did it got stripped and now there isn't even a screen up there so want to put
a fan in that space it will need to be remote as it is too high for anything... so looking forward to any answers you get...
I do like the fantastic fan although I think it is a bit loud but maybe cause of it's small space
sheila

I had a Fantastic fan with remote in my Class C. It was great. Probably not much difference in the models. You might want to check their warranties. I know Fantastic Fan had great service when I needed it in my old Pleasure way, Class B van.

Thanks. I think being short is more of a handicap than being old!

Yes, and being short and old really limits you!

At least we short people fit into beds and airline seats well, but I would like to strangle the people who are designing furniture these days. Somehow, they think that because houses are getting bigger that furniture needs to get bigger as well. When I sit in a sofa or chair so that my back is touching the back of the sofa or chair, my feet are sticking up because my knees do not bend where they are supposed to bend.
I have to hop up and down slightly to reach my ceiling lights. A few years ago, I was waiting in line at the Fleetwood factory parts area and discovered that the guy behind me was a Fleetwood electrical engineer. I told him that putting lights in the ceiling without wall switches was ridiculous. He said that in the less expensive units, they figured short people would use stools. I asked him if his wife carried a stool around in their house, and he admitted she did not! And I asked him what children were supposed to do if they could not reach the switches on ceiling lights!! Are they supposed to wander around in the dark???
It looks like I am going to get a Fan-tastic fan. Now need to get someone to install it.

My oldest daughter is short. In second grade she was scolded by an old biddy teacher for not keeping her knees together when sitting. She cried to me saying “do you know how hard it is to keep your knees together when your feet don’t touch the floor”. She is 5’ and her husband is 6’3”. talk about problems.

I am 5'1". My mother was 5' and my father was about 5'7", but somehow I had a 6' 3" brother and have a 6'3" son. Weird gene in our family. I have a lot of problems walking along with my son because he has very long legs. He had recently gained a little weight, but most of his adult life, he wore pants that were 32' in the waist and with a 36" inseam. At least now, he wears a 35" waist with 36" inseam because they are easier to buy. My husband was 5'10" and my other son is 5'10 also.
I don't blame your daughter for complaining. When I was in elementary school, they would sometimes line us up by height, and I was always in the front of the line of girls!!

Well, I am short and old, but with a maiden name of Adams, I was always stuck in the front. That’s why I kept my married name of Rogers. Now I am finally near the back! Lyn
