A Note Regarding Axe Murderers. . .

Met at man at a campground get-together. He seemed like a really nice guy. We had some good conversation.

As it began to get pretty late in the day, he asked me if I wasn't afraid that he might be an axe murderer.

I told him that the odds of two axe murderers at the same campground were extremely unlikely.

8-)

Apologies to everyone - this was meant to be a "joke post", only intended to give everyone a laugh, but I guess I didn't make that clear - sorry! I am almost NEVER quick on my feet with a snappy comeback.

Anyway, a friend sent me a version of this, and I just changed it up a bit to go with the now-and-again topic on the forum of axe murderers.

Here is the original:

Picked up a hitch-hiker. Seemed like a nice guy.
After a few miles, he asked me if I wasn't afraid that he might be a serial killer?
I told him that the odds of two serial killers being in the same car were extremely unlikely.

Hope you all enjoyed it. ;)

But you know how neat we are going to sound next time someone seriously asks one of us a similar question as we solo, wandering, helpless, women drive around these beautiful states.....

Now we need an answer to the "All by yourself???" question.

Any suggestions?

Except, I usually get that comment from a "sweet" little old lady who is amazed at my "bravery." Gun reference might not be best one for her.

See Judy, if you had that cat...... Some of us just smile and claim the dog/s. I also refer to the women who drive 18 wheelers.......
