Trip to the beach...
Posted: Sun Mar 01, 2020 7:17 pmHere are some pics I took on the way to Carlsbad, stopping at Welburn Gourd Farm near Fallbrook.
The windy roads to the gourd farm are lined with old oak trees making a beautiful canopy overhead. There are creeks running along the roads and lots of little hobby farms and some larger horse farms.

These are the uncleaned gourds. They are still covered in dirt and mold
These are the cleaned gourds. I bought mine from this bin since I am allergic to mold and don't want to have to clean them. They cost a little more but worth it for me.

interesting patterns in the sand
On the way home...there is a guy who makes large metal sculptures and he put these horses on this hill looking like they are jumping over the road.
The overlook where I almost got blown off from the high winds!
This overlooks the whole Coachella Valley where I live.
