Do you have the Wanderlust Gene?

Here is an interesting video on BBC news on the Wanderlust Gene: https://www.bbc.com/ideas/videos/why-do ... uman-brain

Might explain why some of us decide to travel and others prefer to stay home.

I think I read the article not too long ago and came up with similar thoughts. I figure it may explain why the Pottery Man in the recliner always seemed to avoid travel. Luckily I did my best to feed the imaginations for my kids that travel was always a possibility, they just had to figure out how to afford it. They seem to have gotten the gene. I think I figured out I wanted to travel long before I could get my life and responsibilities sorted out to finally be able to spread my wings for big adventures.

I read an article on this. Tried to watch this but without closed captioning I was having trouble. But I know if there's a wanderlust gene, I must have it.

I have wanted to travel and see things since I was maybe 12 years old. In the 50s, there were several travelogs on TV on Sunday. One was George Perrot, who had a traditional travel show, and another named Dennis Glen Cooper. I watched them every Sunday afternoon, along with VIctory at Sea and Canadian wrestling. And then in high school, I read John Steinbeck's last book Travels with Charley.
