Scotland on the very last day

All done now. Aren't you relieved? These are the last of the pictures from Scotland, not that more random thoughts, observations and realizations won't continue to percolate in my mind and co mingle with other thoughts for years to come. That is one reason to travel.

PS: and if you haven't heard Nan tell her story of border guard and crossing the border you need to find her a campfire or a restaurant and sit her down and just listen.

Tina, I was never bored and enjoyed ever picture and comment from your trip. Another picture of a beautiful old gate, King Robert the Bruce standing in a perfect spot. I have one brother younger than me who married a wonderful young girl named Irene. She was born in Scotland and came to the USA with her war bride mother when she was 1 yr old. She worked hard, retired And planned to travel to Scotland. We lost her a couple years ago and she never made the trip. Your trip had special meaning for me. Thanks

Tina, I enjoyed every bit of your 'slide' show! What beauty and history. I am still in awe that you traveled alone. I just had a couple GPS experiences today so I well understand. :) Looking forward to your next adventure!

Welcome home. So glad you had a wonderful and safe trip to another of your dream lands. Thanks so much for taking us along. I am sure with all that walking I did with you that I lost at least 3 or 4 pounds. My orange would have been a peach or apple. Hope to see you this winter down south.
