As some of you know, I have been having bouts of shortness of breath. I have been attrepting it to the asthma that was diagnosed several years ago. The other day when I went in to see my doctor for a routine visit, my pulse was abnormally elevated. She suggested I get a cardiac stress test for evaluation. I did, however they could not do the stress test because my heart was all ready elevated! So cardiac consult was ordered, which happened today. Now, it seems I may have a clogged cardiac artery, so will get a cardiac catheratization on Oct 8th. No wonder none of those inhalers worked!
Will report in again after the test! Still suffering SOB.

Sorry to hear of your problem. Hope all goes well. I was recently diagnosed with congested heart failure. Not being able to breath is very scary.

Lyn~ I'm so sad to read this. At least you are getting diagnosed and treatment plan started. I think of you often and hope this is the solution to your breathing problems. You'll continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

You might not be OK but you sure are on the right track getting issues identified and having a plan in place to respond! Same with you WickedLady. There may always be issues we can not completely control but knowledge does give us options. And good drugs and appropriate procedures and interventions sure do help make a navigational future look more possible.

Its always a relief to find out what the problem is so you can get it fixed. Take care and pamper yourself. Health issues are a bitch. Been having issues with my blood sugar (been diabetic for 20 years) and my doctor is putting me off pills and on insulin. Doesn't make me happy but it is what it is.

This getting old "thing" is such fun! I'm sorry for your health setback, Lyn, but happy that you got (and are getting) the help you will need. Being able to breathe is good! Evie
