"Evacuation orders issued as Plumas County wildfire grows to 24,040 acres"

This is really worrisome. Looks like the fires are coming early this year. Usually they don't start until mid to late October. :-(

Plumas County is north-east of me, not too close. But close enough. :-(

The town of Paradise is/was near the Plumas County border.

Linda McVey and I were just talking about you and the fire. Are you ok. If you need to run, remember I’m in Roseville. I’ll pm you my phone number.

I read an update that there was some good news with this fire this afternoon but higher winds coming back in could make it worse again. So sad. I hope they can get this contained and you don't see any devastation this year.

Yep, it is that time of year again! So sad to hear about this fire now, being so large. I hope they can get it under control before too long. Ann, I hope you stay safe, and please head out if it looks like it is anywhere close to your area. Fires are so fast and unpredictable!

The Tenaja Fire down here is now 40% contained and they expect to have it fully contained in a couple days, so that is good news.

Thanks all for your concern. I am safe, the fire is about 40 - 50 miles from me. Just sad to see the fires starting so early this year.
