We went to the small town of La Noria Sunday for their weekly Tianguis - swap meet/food fair - We have several friends there to visit too. Some photos of the food and people. And we made the Mazatlan Post paper! - the second time Bill has made a Mazatlan paper while visiting La Noria.
The people in the small towns are so welcoming - they go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Most of the day we were the only "Gringos" there.

THIS is the Mexico I love. I am in love with the rural village feeling. And I agree the Mexican people are the most welcoming and friendly. I was never fearful in Bucerias. I would walk into town in the evening and got many Holas and smiles on my way. Loved watching the families walking in the plaza each night and the children playing. Oh I have just got to back one day.

I've never felt more welcome than in Mexican small towns. And, yes, the people go out of their way to help. I loved seeing your picture in the paper.

Too bad I don't have minutes on my old Telcel card. For whatever reason I keep connecting with Mexico, losing my U.S. connection. I'm here at least 5 nights so might not be on often. Ty and I took a walk and I discovered the library here in Columbus. We're sitting outside and I'm catching up. I like this town even if I keep losing my signal lol.
