Had nothing better to do than cruise through the online ads.....
This is my idea of what I'd be looking for, price is great and its not too old.
Not huge but still a class A. I can wish and I can dream :D

That's doable! To get my first rig I had Social Security, worked at an Antique Mall, had a booth there where I sold stuff I bought at auctions, worked on my days off doing demo's in Walmarts, sold on e-bay, had yard sales. I had a big mortgage to pay, but every penny I could scrimp went to getting SOMETHING I could RV in. Just keep your eye on the goal and you'll get there.

I agree, that's very doable! Only scary thing about that ad is that they don't even mention mileage. (And for me, I haven't found a Chevy chassis Class A that I can drive - the way the steering is, gets in the way of my legs! I really like that one - is my size, and looks good from the pictures they show. So keep on dreaming - and yep, that's really doable.

NICE looking rig, Ava! Just about the right length, plenty of room, and price not horrific!

Now then-----about your quitting smoking! Do NOT get discouraged with yourself and convince yourself you can't do it. I know how hard it is, as I once was a smoker, too. (Not for 13 years now, thank heavens.) And you are so right about those things that trigger that desire to light up----for me, the hardest one, believe it or not, was hearing someone on the other end of the phone lighting up and puffing! I had the HARDEST time not joining them, just via phone! For a long time, I still had times when I wanted to inhale those acrid, poisonous fumes, but I have finally reached the point where I know how totally dangerous it would be for me to even think about doing it ever again. Other people's smoke chokes the breath out of me now, and the smell of butts in an ashtray gags me! No more desires to light up, and I know you can do it, too. Just don't let your giving in sometimes disuade you from keeping on trying. I can't WAIT for my daughter to be able to totally kick the habit, too. As a bartender for many years while she was getting her PhD, she almost had to smoke in order to stand being with others who did. It became a very engrained habit, and it will take a lot of persistence to break it. That is how I, too, began smoking----as a bartender. ACK!!!

Good luck, and I will send strength your way for willpower beyond willpower! If you find yourself lit up before you know it, as soon as you see it, put it out! But don't berate yourself----applaud yourself for recognizing your error!

You can do it----you can do it-----you can do it!!!! :)

I always think, but what would I want if I was a fulltimer? That looks to be a nice size for me to still be comfortable moving down the road. Keep dreaming girl! You'll get there. There are moments when it can all come together, even if the magic (as Sparkle points out) is the result of your own hard work and determination....:) That is still good magic!

Nice rv, but I would think twice about getting a Chevy chassis....I know a couple of folks that had them and they were hard to keep on the road..seems they follow the ruts in the road worse than a Ford, but they were older ones so hopefully they have improved the front end. Why a Class A? Thought you had a nice 5'er?

Sharon, I do have a nice 5'r but no truck, thats why I can't go anywhere
5 years to go to retirement and I will feel more comfortable in a class A, I've
driven a bus for 20 years so the driving thing is not intimidating. A class c
might not be big enough for me to live in full time when I'm not on the road
but I'm keeping my options open, you never know what the market will provide
in 5 years. :D

Ava, that's a nice lookin' rig. Very liveable. A lot of people up here are selling their class A motorhomes due to gas/diesel prices and license and insurance on top of it all (especially if they don't use them that much).
If you get a class A would you tow a small car? get a scooter? for running around town?
Hold on to that dream and it will come true in time.

Wow! that MH is immaculate! And yes, the price is good. Of course there are other questions but on the surface it looks great!
