We left the wonderful RV park near Puerto Vallarta 2/28 and drove to Guadalajara. Just some pictures from there
This memorial is just before you start on to the curvy section of Mexico 200- guess they are trying to tell us something
Image
Fires burning out in the fields from highway between MX200 and 15D
Image
Good road over the mountains into Guadalajara - Mexico 15D also expensive 220 miles $44.
Image
Road into RV park - cobblestones and lots of overhanging trees
Image
Our parking space - looks nice - very low electricity, low water pressure - its called a Resort???
Image
Just getting into Guadalajara in the motorhome - nice traffic
Image
Driving in downtown Guadalajara
Image
Always sharing the road with strange things
Image
These carriages take you for a ride around the historic downtown area - my kids rode one 30 years ago
Image
Mass transit now available - the cars are painted
Image
Lots of underground highways now. Helps with the traffic as the intersections are clearer
Image
Just some of the buildings - check out the hanging bicycle and all the wires
Image
More buildings
Image
Lots of graffiti around
Image
This young girl was doing cartwheels int he street during every red light then going to the cars with her hand out - some paid her

We have been here a couple of times and explored so didn't stay here very long. Did visit with my cousin who now lives here.
Did not visit Tonala this time, have done it a couple of times in the past - once being 30 years ago when it was just one block and nice. City is very smoggy now - can't even open the car windows. I added more info on my web page.
We'll be here in Queretaro for a couple more days and will try to continue to catch up. We are fine and enjoying ourselves but starting to look forward to going home - though today it is only 28 degrees there. Brrrr - I miss being able to watch NASCAR later.....

Great pics, Carol. How do you suppose the bike got up on the wires?
My compliments to "the driver" for managing those streets! :D

Pretty countryside in spite of the smoke, but I wouldn't enjoy the city driving...even as a passenger.
