I just love this time of year. Even if things aren’t going so well, Spring can make it better.

Very pretty Sandi! Yesterday I had to take pictures of my pretty pink Crepe Myrtle trees that are in bloom. Today there were more blooms
than yesterday. Love pretty flowers!! I will put containers with flowers out back and on the front porch the week after next.

Flowers always make life feel better! :D

I found some flowers (columbine) to put in front of my house. Just have to take out the plants that are there now and prepare the area for the new flowers. I want to put hibiscus plants in front too.

Beautiful flowers Sandi. Better than looking at my white landscape  Like the others said, you certainly have a green thumb.

Beautiful, Sandy! Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
Love seeing what the possibilities are as I try to figure out what to do with my patio & outdoor area.
I do NOT have a green thumb but want to try some flowering plants & see how long I can keep them alive.

I feel the same way! Will be lucky to not kill everything. I usually forget to water my plants and then when I finally do, I drown them!

Since we're talking about Spring, I thought I'd share a few of the flowers that have made me smile.

I started with bare dirt, since our house is brand new. It's been fun to wander the nurseries and pick out things that make me happy.

Here's the beginnings:

And it started growing in:

And then Spring happened. :)

It's always a work in progress. The daffodils are already gone, but marigolds and a couple of kinds of daisies are happy. Catherine & Barbie, look at what's in your local nursery and talk with the people who work there. They can help you pick out what might work. And if something dies, at many nurseries if you keep the receipt you can take it back.

And Barbie, for not much money you can set up a timer to water for you -- Catherine, you can, too, for a drip system.
