Daughters Progress

Postby SoCalGalcas » Mon Feb 12, 2018 4:14 pm

Today I stayed and viewed the PT my daughter does. I was very impressed with the progress she is making! She can get into and out of a wheelchair from and into bed.bed. She can get from the wheelchair to the toilet safely. Also the tub chair from the wheelchair.
The stump looks sore, but she says it isn’t. Still has staples. She is going to see the surgeon Friday. We are all looking forward to her coming home. No date set for that yet.
Patience the doctor says!

Hi Lyn, your daughter has a strong will and a can do attitude. I wish her continued progress and a big hug for both of you. Peggy

Wonderful news Lyn. I hope all continues to progress so well. We know Laurie comes from “tough stock” right?

I've been awol lately, Lyn & just caught up with what's going on with your daughter. As others have said, she comes from good stock. I'm glad to hear her recuperation is going well. I'm sure it will be easier once she is home.
Just don't forget to take good care of yourself, too.
I'll keep you all in my prayers...
