We ended the week with temps around 70, severe weather warnings and signs of spring all around

Got up this morning to winter. Imagine how hard it snowed to get this much to stick with temps above freezing!

The good thing about snow in the south is getting to enjoy the beauty briefly; usually gone within 24 hours.

Oh I hope it didn't ruin all the flowers. I love spring but it takes awhile longer to get up here to Illinois! Thanks for the reminder it won't be long.

It's sure pretty - but I'm so glad I didn't winter in the Huntsville area this year.

It's so nice to see some colors! Even if they did get a bit frosted with the fluffy white stuff! Thanks for sending them along.....it'll be a loong time before we get any flowering anythings up here!

As most southern snows go, this was the "good" kind - pretty for a few hours, then all gone by mid-afternoon.
Couldn't resist one more photo before it all melted away

That daffodil makes me think of an old Emmy Lou Harris song "Roses in the Snow"....
