I have not logged in for a long time - after the death of my son I lost the desire to travel, and am now selling my RV. Several of you lovely ladies have sent me sweet messages, and for that I thank you. It has been a very difficult time for my family but we are making progress and accepting the stark realization that our Joe is gone. Joe had profound effects on many people through his work as a research neuroscientist. His research has extended the life of many children with a rare neurological disease who would have died by the age of 5 years, and I have been privileged to meet some of the parents. Although I will not be traveling in my RV any longer, I wish all of you safe and fun travels! Be well.

Judi I will think of you often as you progress in this journey. He blessed the world and I'm glad you are blessed by the caring of those he helped. Check in when you feel up to it. Take care and God Bless.

Judi - So nice to hear that you are doing OK and bless your son for his works. You have many memories to stay with you.

You might want to post here some of the particulars of your RV.

Take care and happy Easter,
Linda

Judi, I just recently posted about you. I hope you'll come back more often. You are loved and missed when we don't see/hear from you.

Definitely, if you haven't already, post your rv for sale in the appropriate room. Good luck!

I have thought of you so often Judi, I'm so glad you dropped in. I agree with what Sheila and others have said, just because you are selling your RV doesn't mean you have to give us up. Stop in again soon. If I remember you were buying a place near the ocean, which as long been my my dream.

Redetotry I did indeed buy a little cottage in Manzanita the Oregon coast. It's a very small and very special village. It has helped me to heal and find peace. However, right now I am temporarily living in Santa Barbara to care for my mother. She's 93 and was not doing well in assisted living. Some days are ok but I have to admit that most days I want to pull my hair out! She's very difficult and not the nicest person. Thank goodness two of my kids live here so they keep me sane. I miss Manzanita so much. I inserted a photo but i'm not sure it will work - I forget how to do it after all this time.

Very pretty photo! I hope things get better for you. You have been thru a lot, and caring for an elderly parent, especially a somewhat difficult one is never easy. Be sure to take care of yourself. You are in a wonderful place there in Santa Barbara and there is no shortage of beautiful beaches or quiet mountain roads, to get away and release your stress for awhile (I used to live there).

And as others have said, check back once in awhile!

Judi, thank you for the picture! Now I have that beautiful beach to visualize when I dream. I'm so sorry you can't be there now. Take good care of yourself and know we are here sending you good thoughts and energy.
