Awwwww thank you, love love love the cake. As a special adventure
for my birthday Bill took me up in the hills in the utv. As luck would have it,
the utv broke a fuel line and we got stranded. Big mistske to let daughter
know I was fine and not to worry,,,,,being the 911 dispatcher that she is, the Pinal cnty sheriff got called, search and rescue was on the way and also the forest ranger.Anyway,
Bill was on his way hiking back home to get the truck and come back. It was a good 5-6 miles as the crow flies but zig zag up n down boulders of course made it much longer.
He did hike all the way back, two and a half hours later he showed up in the truck.
Then of course we had to tow it backwards until we had had a wide spot to get it turned
around, rechsined and proceeded to tow home over the boulders, me driving and him steering the utv. What an adventure on my birthday and I wouldn't traded it for anything
else. Course as soon as he got back, I had too call the sheriff and let them know to
call off the troops. They kept calling during those hours to check on me. I had plenty
of water, couple of cereal bars and a blanket just in case it got dasrk and cold. I'm still
smiling but back at Bills with a glass of wine.

Happy Birthday! what an adventure you had. Happy all came out safely and well and ended with wine and a good story!

Quite the birthday adventure! Glad your daughter took it seriously tho. You never know when things can turn bad quickly! At least you were prepared.

Sorry for being way too late on birthday wishes Ava, but sounds like you had one big adventure there. Glad there was planning for water & blanket for 'just in case' scenario. Think of your adventure as a kick off for an adventurous year.
