So with the new year on the way... I was just wondering what's some of your plans were some of your traveling plans ...where you're headed.. exciting Adventures do you have a head you know all that good stuff... I am getting very close to where I can start to travel I still have to finish the job at hand though... way down inside me I've got this little voice telling me don't get too excited yet... but it's there I'm getting excited... not sure when I'll be able to start but when I get the house on the market that's when I will start...that should be in the next few months ....I do have plans for late spring early summer to take my dad's ashes back to Greenville Pennsylvania and bury him with my mother that's where he wants to be... and after that it seems possible that the whole world is going to open up to me at least the United States world .... so what are your plans hopes dreams Adventures this'll be fun ....

Well, being I moved this year and am busy getting my new house the way it want it, I didn't go anyplace this year other than 3 short camping trips to the U.P. in the span of about 3 weeks in Sept. Now, Gettysburg and out east exploring the Civil War sites is starting to pull on me. Time to hit the road again. Maybe a GTG at Gettysburg to meet some of the east coast gals.

But first I must get new wheels as my lease is up this spring. I also am considering selling my trailer and getting something different. I need a little more room for me and the two fur kids. But first have to see what the budget can absorb. So I have ideas floating around in my head, just waiting for the right time to get things moving in the right direction. And of course I am always game to meet anybody who comes into MI this next year too.

I am still hoping to get to the Florida GTG at the end of February. Please plan some warm weather. The Louisiana group I camp with is pretty wishy washy. The lady that started the group put up a couple of campouts and ask others to plan some. I'm sure some of us will camp at the state park near me a couple of times. There is nothing planned for January. I'm on a waiting list for a campout in May not too far from me. In April there is a campout for vintage trailers in Breaux Bridge. I don't have a vintage trailer but I am going to camp with them anyway. There's a crawfish boil.

I belong to a group called the GetawayGals. Most of the campouts are in Texas and I hope to make a few of those.

before I was worried about the truck and also fiances now I have a truck that I can trust hopefully and truck payments
but I have to go to SD to get license by Jan 2018 not going in the winter so sometime in the fall perhaps I will take the 5th wheel and
venture off that I15 corridor go to SD then Iowa and on to Q we will see
otherwise I really have no plans need to do something though

Plans,,, no secret my retirement is right around the corner.
I do have a trip planned to Q for January. After that I'll be
shopping for a motor home. Sometime late spring I'll venture
up to Washington to visit my dad. After that,,,,I have no idea.
Thinking that far in advance is quite a brain drain right now.

Volunteering at Gilbert Ray in Arizona until the beginning of April. If I can arrange it, I'll take time to get to the gtg in Q in January. Back to Keystone and the store mid-April to October.

I plan to go to Q in January for a few days. Then moving to San Marcos, CA on Feb 5th. From that point, who knows? Lots more exploring to do out there, hiking, kayaking, camping, etc. Hopefully, get a tour of downtown San Diego from Lyn, too.

No plans as of yet, but like Sue, I'm looking into a new TT for the same reason (2 furkids) but also need more cabinet space and counter space. Getting tired of moving coffee pot from stove to sink, back to stove, etc, etc, etc. Cabinet space needed because in WI in October, my 2 furbrats broke into the storage bin where I had dry goods, and help themselves to Pupperoni's

Thought of making reservations last weekend at one of the SPs here, but then it went right out of my brain again. And Spring & Fall vaycays will depend on work & a new boss (still waiting for that one).

I plan to visit my Mom in Franklin NC in April, then a friend will meet me in NC. We plan to do a sightseeing, hiking, kayaking trip for 2 weeks in NC & TN. This May & June, or later planning a trip from WI to NE (for some genealogy) then thought I would go up to the Black Hills & Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, then to Yellowstone, Tetons and Glacier. Then back home via ND and Northern MN. I know National Parks probably busy, but have never been to Glacier and want to see the area. We will see what happens, so many places to see it is hard to make a decision! I have not used my new trailer, so really would like to take it out for a couple days before the NC trip to get used to it, and try everything out.

I don't get opportunities for long trips nowadays, but I do have reservations two weeks from now for the FMCA Western Area rally in Indio, CA at the Date Festival fairgrounds and the Southern California Good Sam Samboree in April. Otherwise so far it's just the monthly campouts with my GS chapter. As I get older I don't venture off too far by myself.

I'm wanting to spend as much time on the Lake Huron shore as I can this summer. Possibly other shores as well . . . my new daughter has to do archival research in London, Paris, and Istanbul this year. Maybe I will have a sudden need to join her. It's been a long time since I've spent a month in London.

I have my first reservation for May 4 thru May 11, at Pere Marquette S.P. near Alton, IL. Before that I will be doing trips to my club so DH can camp with me and we can fish and refill our freezer for fish frys during the year. I am considering heading to Elkhart, IN in July with my camping club as they have an outing planned for there every year. Of course they also do a lot of local camping, which I plan on doing more of this year. Only did one campout with them last year but had a blast, great bunch of folks. No long trips for me yet, but won't rule it out. There is always the possibility of the FB group I'm in to post a gtg somewhere in my area. Being still working, it's pretty hard to get away for longer than a weekend.

The only thing I know for sure is that I plan to travel in the East this summer. I will visit my sister in Massachusetts, but not sure exactly when or for how long. As usual, I will follow the weather and my whims, and see where the spirit moves me.

Bill thinks he wants to go to Alaska this summer. I'm not so sure, we've been there once, it is one long heck of a drive. But we now know so many people in Canada it would be fun to visit with all of them. We won't be getting home from Mexico until the end of March and would have to leave for Alaska by first of June - not sure I want to do so much traveling. We'll just have to see. We're both getting up there in years so I guess if we do want to go we'd best go.
And he is making plans for next year here in Mexico - building a palapa - thatch roof over the RV space...No comment.
