How many Veterans among us?

I'll start! I joined the Navy as a Nurse Corps Candidate in 1970. Between 4 years Active duty and 16 years Reserve, I totalled just over 20 years. Retired a Commander Navy Nurse Corps. Also married a Navy Chief, but that's another story!
Ok who else have their own personal service story to tell?
