Trying to get caught up

Howdy to all!
It's been so long since I have been on this forum I don't know where to begin. I have been down here in Florida since November, had my chest split open and had some very clogged cardiac arteries bypassed with some not-even-so-very-healthy leg veins, and am now about to head back to the North country! I guess it was a very good thing that my atrial fibrillation I experienced 3 years ago returned, along with horrendously fast tachycardia one night, plus some weird pain in my left arm and shoulder. I decided I'd best call the rescue squad to see what on earth was happening. After myriads of tests, including a catheterization to, ostensibly, insert a stent in a blocked cardiac artery, (couldn't be done as artery was too blocked up!) and then an ambulance trip to another hospital for the triple bypass. It was a winter to remember, to say the least!
One of my college roommates is flying down on Monday to ride home with me. We plan to leave on the 15th, weather permitting. I will take my usual route north, driving no more than 250 miles each day, and sometimes less, so it will take us a week to get there. Sue (my friend) will drive to Syracuse in her car from Rochester, park the car in another of our friend's yard for the week, and will get driven to the airport. I'm actually looking forward to the trip for a change!
I see some new faces on here, and some old ones I have missed and lost touch with. Those of you who use Facebook I keep up with. I would love to meet up with you in the campgrounds sometime in the future. I plan to return here for next winter, and, hopefully, will get to spend it doing a lot more camping rather than rehabbing!
Happy Trails to you all!
