Somehow my junk mail option has been turned off and I am getting millions of junk emails! I don't know how to get that turned back on and I am desperate! My email box is filling up faster than I can delete these things! Help!! (I am very bad a figuring out how to do things on my laptop, so any suggestions have to be written for a kindergartner level!

Outlook is not an email provider. You must have an account with someone else and it gets forwarded to outlook.
Turn off your computer. Go borrow someone else's and go into Hotmail and then change your email address.
I keep two email addresses with gmail--One I use whenever I have to give my email to a company when I buy something or sign up to something. I call it my junk email address. The other one I give to close friends and family.
Also, you probably have a virus, so you need to download an anti-virus program. Right now your computer is almost certainly infected, so you need an anti-virus program to clean it out. I like Norton, but it costs about $60 per year. There are several free ones online. Just make sure it is a reputable company and has good reviews.

Trend Micro is another really good Anti Virus. Trojan etc. program. My computer guru recommended it to me. Nothing gets past it in terms of bugs, viruses etc. Can't same same for junk mail, but that's another whole ball game.

Barbie, I use Yahoo Mail and they have a good spam filter. I'm with Judy; I have a Gmail account for companies that insist they need my email and my yahoo account that I use for friends. If you have Windows, windows defender is a good virus program. I had one get through recently and had to take my computer to the computer place and have them clean it out. The virus had turned off my Windows Defender.
