Just a few more snippets from Valley of Fire. Tomorrow I move a little farther north and to higher elevations, and hopefully cooler temperatures. I may not have good cell or internet service the next few days.

I see the face of a lion in one rock face. Interesting area. So you running generator for AC?

I think I remember her saying that she was hooked up to electricity at that campground...

Yes, I had electric hookups there. And all my hiking was done at sunrise. 5:30 a.m. to about 7:30, while still cool.
