Take an imaginary walk with a native Mono girl as she gathers acorns and other things on the way to the "grinding place."

You have such a good guide dog! He is always right out there checking things out. Will you get to Mono Lake while out there? Be on the lookout for Spruce and Sage Grouse while in that area. Spruce will walk on the forest floor but boom up in the trees maybe 30-40 feet up. We got them on the east side just out of the park...maybe they didn't have a pass! Sage of course will be on the ground as they don't normally go up. You rarely spoil yourself so enjoy your stay in the park.
