Tornados, hope everyone is safe

Just caught up on my news, tornados in Louisiana and Mississippi. I certainly hope
all the girls are safe. This kind of stuff really makes me worry.

The storm wasn't as bad here as predicted. Most of it went North of us but there were tornados in Louisiana and Mississippi. A tornado hit a campground between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The news says 2 people were killed, 30 people were sent to a hospital and over 100 trailers were damaged or destroyed. The pictures look really bad. I think most of the storm is in Alabama now. I sure hope it misses our friends in Florida.

Yes please check in everyone. Heard this morning South Carolina is expecting some bad storms now also.

Swing thins morning that bad weather now hitting areas of FL and a Tor-Con of 6 for Hardee Lakes area, which means 60% chance of tornadoes. Hope our forum sisters there are doing okay. Saw pictures of the campground in Convent, LA. Really a mess.

Soos posted on fb that the ranger came by at hardee lakes and told everybody, they are all ready to head for the bath house if need be

We are soaking wet but safe and back in our rigs now. No warning right now but watches go thru the afternoon.

Most everything is going a little north of Melbourne... there is one more round going to pass through late afternoon then it will be over...

This just shows the importance of taking cover quickly when there is threatening weather warnings, especially in campgrounds! Glad all are safe for now.

We had an interesting day. Had to evacuate our rigs twice due to tornado warnings; the second one was really close by. Both of these were during daylight hours; much better than trying to get thru the ones at night. Carol and I very greatful Soos and Brenda have trucks and gave us rides to bathhouse as we don't run very well any more. Yes, we took all the dogs with us. Everyone safe and no damage within the campground.
No more severe weather in forecast next few days but it is turning much colder even in south FL.
