Still a bill, not yet passed. SD will be hurting themselves if they pass it, so I'm thinking it won't happen, but only time will tell. I already emailed the person that leads the committee it's in.

I have heard that SD is already losing some of it's popularity as a residency for full-timers who need to have health insurance because they don't have many plans that allow you to obtain care outside the state.

Actually, they had more plans this year and I have better insurance than I had years and years ago at a better price. You just have to be diligent and find them.

Just got a notice that they tabled this after an 8-1 vote. However the issue isn't dead as the editor said gotta be a way to keep those using the state for financial gain from voting! So heads up for future. Always someone somewhere wanting a bite of us.

Recently HUD issued a recommendation that RV's should be noted that they are for recreational use NOT for permanent use. I bet you can see this one developing. Just sayin'.

I plan to "recreate" permanently...or at least for a very long time, about as long as I live.

According to Escapees we want this. It's how they have already been classified. If they classify them as the changes are, they'd have to be built to the standards of s&b homes and it would most likely be the end of the industry. I was very confused, but the Escapees article helped me.

Glad to hear the SD bill is tabled for now, at least.
