We are about 300 miles south into Mexico. Staying in San Carlos on the Sea of Cortez for a week. San Carlos is mainly a North American occupied town but it has a nice campground and is close to the very Mexican city of Guaymas.
The weather is warm during the day and cool at night. Yesterday we had lunch right on the beach. Can't get much better. Today we'll go into Guaymas because Bill's wifi adaptor quit working. He has a PC that isn't
wireless. My last two blogs have been about crossing the border, staying in Hermosillo and coming on down to San Carlos. Pleasant journey so far. Lots of pictures. http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com And one short video.
And yes it is safe in Mexico. The day we left Vegas three people were murdered there. We have never had any problems here.

All caught up on your blog. I'm so happy to travel with you again this way! Ouch on forgetting things but luckily all replaceable.

Last time I was at Tumacacori (sp) a lady was demonstrating making tortillas and got to eat them. Good, but I've never gotten tortillas in the US that I like as well as those in Mexico.

I'm sure mentally with you on the beach.
