Leaving Las Vegas

But we'll be leaving in our Alfa - planning on leaving on the 2nd Wednesday - if we manage to get everything done tomorrow. The Alfa is parked out front right now. My legs are tired from going in and out today.
Wrote about it on the blog. http://www.lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com Bill's been cooking and I've been sewing. The cooked stuff will go with us. The sewing will wait until next year to get finished.
We were glad to hear that the hurricane kind of fizzled out before reaching Mazatlan. They just got rain.

I'm so glad you are going again. I'll be doing so vicariously through you once again. Enjoy and both of you stay healthy!!!

Good morning to all - Liz come visit us in Mazatlan - the roads are supposed to be good this year. Today will be busy - got to finish packing, go to bank, do laundry etc. And luckily the cleaning ladies our son sends will be here today - so we'll come home to a clean house - he usually sends them just before we come home too.
Plan on leaving right after breakfast tomorrow and stopping in Quartzsite tomorrow night. Still have to make empanadas today - so we'll have lots of easy meals for a while.
Just hope it isn't windy tomorrow.
I've been reading about those of you taking care of elderly parents - and realized WE are the elderly parents in our family. Oh well.
