Nice to see you post
http://www.motorhome.com/download-dinghy-guides/Looks like the 2015 was part of the April 2015 issue and the 2014 was part of the April 2014. I see a pattern

Thanks Melissa.
I was hoping it would be sooner than that because the 2016 vehicles coming out now. I didn't want to have to go through all the car lots, reading the manuals. It'd be nice to narrow it down a little.

You might use the 2015 as a guide, then verify the 2016 version still is.

Time has not changed that.

It is my understanding that the Hondas can be towed up to the 2014 models. In 2015 they did something to the transmissions so they are no longer towable. I had a salesman from the Honda dealership recently call wanting me to trade up. I told him the reason I bought my Honda CRV was so I could tow it behind my motorhome and that I couldn't do that with a new Honda. He didn't correct me.
And good to hear from you.

Thank you, ladies.
We have come to the conclusion that if we ever want to travel in a RV again, we will have to make some changes. We are no longer able to safely get Ronnie in and out of his truck. Our plan is to sell the Toyhauler and truck and go the motorhome route. There are only two companies that make motorhomes with wheelchair lifts, Newmar and Winnebago. In looking for a car to tow, we have to take several things into consideration. It has to be 4,000 pounds or less. We must be able to transfer Ronnie from his wheelchair to the seat without the use of a lift (like he had in his truck). It must be automatic since he is giving up his truck, he wants to be able to put hand controls in the car in the event he wants or needs to drive it.
Hopefully someone who is disabled will be able to get the toyhauler since it already has the lift in it, if not, then so be it, they can take it out or use it similar to a tommylift. The truck will be the easiest to sell, it is very low mileage (still in the 20's).

Glad to hear you are looking to get back on the road some.
In addition to the two companies you mentioned, Born Free has a mobility line that include wheel chair lifts http://www.dodgenmobiletech.com/#!mobility-rvs/crpr
