So glad I got to see some of Mayo on your trip! I didn't get that far on my trip since we went from Dublin, counter clockwise up to Shannon. Dad still has cousins in Mayo, so I do need to go back again (someday ~ wishful thinking).

Thanks for the very interesting pictures Tina. I really enjoyed seeing all those rocks!!! Isn't the ocean too cold for surfing?!?! Looks like you are having a good time! lyn

We did not see many suffers but then Dee also mentioned about the quality of waves in January. I think that the serious surfers wear wet suits and follow the waves without concern for the water temps. Western Ireland does benefit from the warmer Atlantic jet stream, just not warm enough for me. :)
