Traveling Longdogs: Glacier Nat Park

Glacier National Park was absolutely amazing. Since we only had one day there, we chose to drive the Going to the Sun road. The views were fabulous. From Avalanche Campground to Rising Sun picnic area, RVs over 21 feet including tow vehicle or toad are prohibited. With more time, we would definitely have taken the Red Bus tour.

Thank you for taking me on Going to the Sun road. I've yet to be at Glacier Park when it's been open. It's definitely on my bucket list and loved traveling it with you.

Beautiful place. Guess my 22 ft Sprinter won't make the place! Maybe someday in a car.
Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful phototour.

Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I have never visited Glacier, but it has long been on my wish list.

I've only been through the park by train, so it was nice to see it through your beautiful pics. Thanks.

Velda.....I recommend taking the free Red bus then you can relax and really enjoy the scenery. My son drove while my daughter-in-law and I took pictures. The Red bus is free but you probably need to make reservations,

Glacier is so beautiful. Did you get to see those big white sheep/goats? We saw several that came right into the parking lot at the lodge at summit of Going to the Sun. Thanks for sharing your pix.

The red bus looks fun, but we won't get to travel until all this spread of cancer in hubby is treated and he is well again. I long to travel but the drive to San Francisco the other day in heavy traffic was tiring. I'd much rather drive a lesser distance each day and be camped in a pretty spot for the night. But I can dream of Glacier.
