You had a really nice day to do that drive. Too bad you had such little time to see those beautiful parks.

My goodness.

Could I be mistaken? Angus doesn't really look like a longdog. Is he a bully breed?

Beautiful scenery. I have not been to Yellowstone since 66 when my Mom and I took a trip after I graduated high school. I'd love to visit again. Have happy travels.

wish I could remember when it was but there was a major forest fire in Yellowstone burned acres and acres of
trees...at the time the protocol was to let it burn if it wasn't man made ....by the time they were ready to change
their mind it was out of control if ever a fire can be in control...it was pretty sad actually...
one of my favorite geysers quit doing it's thing as often still does but one never knows when
there are actually some that gush more water than Old Faithful but it's the predictability that makes it
the most popular....when you come back we will have to get together
enjoy the rest of your trip

Liz.....I would love to spend a week or so there in the RV. Nice campgrounds.

The Longdogs didn't get to come along on this trip so I hope they will be speaking to me when I get home. Angus is an American Staffordshire Terrier and is a trained Therapy Dog. He is the most lovable, gentle dog you can imagine....loves people and dogs and cats and birds.
