I have made it as far as Custer, SD. Bearly missed out on two giant nasty storm fronts
and am still trying to catch some rest from my driving too many miles, too many days in a row.
The North Cascades Highway, northern Idaho and western Montana could have taken another three weeks to cross but, alas, not this year.

Great post Tina. Glad you did see some whales. You'll have plenty of time to catch up on rest on the flight over to Ireland.

Great trip you are having Tina. If you are going back on 90, see if you can get into the American Creek RV Park in Chamberlain, SD Beautiful park on the Missouri, or of course there is always Ft Robinson SP in NE if you are angling that way. Glad you missed the storms, they are down right nasty out there. After that one I was in in Kennebec, I was like a horse heading for th barn as Mitch calls it. Couldn't get off those plains fast enough. Safe travels home.

Thanks for the recommendations but my GPS is set for Avon and Pat's. If I get too tired before I get there it will be the closest port along the way.
