Just read that as more beachs and more pictures of dead trees and some alive trees with some mist and mountains added.

Ah, thank you Tina! So beautiful. Sorry you can't get to all the places you planned, reminds me of the poem The Road Not Taken, by Robert Frost.

what incredible pictures, thank you for sharing your adventures with us, I find it so amazing that with all
those different sandscrubbed driftwood stumps and logs there is always a face of some sort in there. Its
eery and creepy and oh so beautiful all at the same time.

Love the views from this place. Friends drove me up this past summer.

what a neat area...so enjoyed your take on it...can you imagine the patience that it would take to make
the rocks stationary like on that tree...there is a term for stacking rocks like that but don't remember what it is
so enjoyed all you shared

Beautiful! Your photos are gorgeous, Tina. I'd be proud to hang them on my walls. (and you know how I am about hanging stuff on the walls.)

Big hugs to you and the pups.

Sheila they are called "cairns"(the rock stacks). Often seen on hiking trails as trail markers.

I was hoping to get to the Olympic Nat'l. Park this summer but it didn't happen so your pictures have inspired me to continue making a plan for that area. I love your pics. The Pacific Northwest coast is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing your journey.

Knowing the 'going green' mindset of the PNW, my guess the wind spinners were somehow used for recharging something.
