Nice pictures. I love coastal Oregon. By chance when you wrote Brandon did you mean Bandon? I'm familiar with Bandon as my Mom always stopped there,to get cranberry candy. Looks like dogs had fun.
Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful scenery and pictures. I love the flying dogs and the wind in their ears.

Thanks for taking me back to my home stomping grounds - I miss the green and the driftwood beaches. California beaches never quite lived up to the interesting beachcombing in Washington and Oregon. How the devil did I end up in hot, hot, humid, Texas????? When I die I hope someone will scatter my ashes in New Mexico or the Oregon/Washington coast so I don't have to spend eternity in Texas. PLEASE!!!!!! Wish I was traveling with you.

Beautiful!!! I want to be there!! I might even run with the puppers as I know how they feel. I'm with Karen how did I manage to stay a hot, humid, buggy place when all that beauty and fresh breathable air is just waiting for me.....

Beautiful, beautiful pictures Tina. I'm so glad you got to see the Oregon coast. One of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful drives in the US! I never tire of going to Oregon as the state is fantastic.
I am finally, getting back to feeling normal. I'm camped at 5,000 feet in the forest at a high mountain lake right now.
I want to thank the "Oregon ladies" for putting on a spectacular GTG. Last year, when I came up they had it rain for all seven days. This year they had us all get the flu with them! What does next year offer???

So glad you're feeling better Miss Lyn! I'm with you, I'm anxious to see what next year brings! Tornado? Hurricane? Snow?

A favorite camp - Beverly Beach State Park. Beautiful beach, and the B loop has full hookups, including cable TV. There are many state parks along the coast, and they are well maintained and many have hookups. I spend a lot of time on the Oregon coast!

:) Yes, Velda, you are the winner! It is still called Bandon.... Sometimes I get lazy mush brain when I get to cropping pictures and posting....

And, yes, the pups and I walked several beautiful beaches.......I could definitely park in some of these state parks for awhile if I didn't "hear" Washington state calling my name and have the name and number of a couple of highways that were highly recommended to take me back east........Keep the lights on Pat...

Are you going all the way to the rain forest? So beautiful . . .

I have long since lost the photo of a friend sprawled full-length on the beach next to the sign 'Beware Killer Logs.' It was funny, but the logs were tree-sized, and I have no doubt they could kill when the water is fast.

Hmmmm . . . going to have to add the rain forest to my list of places to re-visit, I see . . .

HA HA HA Lyn. I have never been so dang hot for so long, nor have I been that sick for many many years. We came over to the coast to get cooled off but I was still on sick mode, had to go to Urgent Care as I had another bladder infection and a high temp, took several days of antibiotics before the temp became normal and I could eat something. I do not care if I ever see another bottle of Gatorade BUT it certainly helped at the time. Laura took very very good care of me and we did do the "happy dance" when it rained a bit....just soggy fog but hey we were excited.

I am feeling much much better, back to normal pretty much. We are off to Newport Marina this morning to camp for a few days, going to go to the Aquarium, neither of us has been there for many years.

Not sure what next year will bring but we are thinking the Oregon Coast sounds like a perfect solution in JULY. Now it is Oregon so anything can happen but I just cannot be that hot again. It was a record breaking week of heat....go figure.

To my Oregon friends and any others who will be lurking around Oregon next July 4th - I will be making reservations at Beverly Beach State Park on June 30 for 6 nights, starting June30, 2016. Reservations can be made 9 months in advance of arrival date. For once I am going to plan ahead!
