I am leaving Wed. for MI to check out RV in White Lake MI (just s. of Flint) I think this may be the one!
2002 Gulfstream Conquest sport 24', with slide, corner bed, solar panels, 60,000 mi. one owner and she says she has all the paperwork showing service etc. I have inspection set for Thursday p.m. by a mechanic. I have printed off a check list of stuff to check out and will follow that. I will check with the license bureau here in WI to see what paperwork is needed to license it. Not sure what to do about insurance, although I have gotten a quote from Good Sams and will check with Progressive tomorrow.
What other suggestions do you ladies have?

Fingers and toes crossed for you. You are way further ahead of the game then I was when I first bought.

Good luck!
I don't know about the other states you have to drive through to get home, but in Michigan it is legal to drive a vehicle you just bought directly to your home without license plates.

Good luck. Don't know which way you are heading into MI, but I'm justvsouth of Gaylord off I-75 if you need a rest stop. Have a spare room here too or a place to park that rig if you need. . Good luck. Sounds good.

Much good luck to you, hope it is the one! I believe if you have a signed, dated bill of sale stating that you just bought it you may not need to have plates to drive it home. That is what I was told I needed to pull home a horse trailer without plates. Now insurance, I don't have a clue.

Talked to the owner yesterday and she said she could not start the RV. Today she called and said that the fuel pump has to be replaced, which she is taking care of. So hopefully all will be ready by the time I get there. She still has stuff to get out of it from her last camping trip in Sept. Doesn't sound like she is moving very quickly!
Thanks for the offer of a spot to stop, Colliemom, but unfortunately I will be heading south out of MI. Thanks for the notes of encouragement!

Hey, if there are things found wrong and she's taking care of them - all the better for you... sure hope this one is what you're hoping for!
